The photo shows designers and owners Gary and Kelli Trainor. They have three children Ryan, Meghan, and Justin

Gary is a jeweler, watch repairman, and appraiser. He is a graduate of the North Bennet Street School in Boston. He has also taken courses in Diamond Grading, Appraising and Advanced Stone Setting from the Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A.). Kelli is a Graduate Jeweler Gemologist, having graduated from the G.I.A. at Santa Monica, California.

Jewel of the Isle is the only full-service jewelry store on Nantucket with trained jewelers on the staff. Because they repair jewelry daily, Gary and Kelli are aware of the strain that your favorite piece of jewelry goes through. This is why they guarantee the products that they handcraft for life. They want you to wear their products with confidence.

Natural Nantucket shells are used as models for all of their shell jewelry. In addition to having a most extensive collection of Nantucket Theme Jewelry, Gary and Kelli design and handcraft a wide variety of custom jewelry. Their designs include engagement rings, bangle bracelets, freeform carved rings, and colored stone earrings set in 14kt, 18kt, and platinum. Jewel of the Island is located at 6 Straight Wharf (lower Main Street) on Nantucket Island and is open year-round.
